Management Secrets of Attila the Hun are all very well and good. But we think that "Marketing Secrets of Hari Seldon" are just as important in running successful science fiction conventions. So, at the 2007 Smofcon in Boston, we had a program emphasis on marketing, public relations, and advertising - topics relevant to all con-runners. We had lots of other programming, comfortable hospitality, and the gastronomic delights of Boston within easy reach.
Smofcon 25 is now over. MCFI thanks all who contributed to its success. Hope to see you next year in Columbus, Ohio!

Progress!
Wednesday, November 14 at the NESFA clubhouse, we collated, folded, stuffed, labeled, etc. Smofcon 25 Progress Reports for mailing to all pre-registered members. They went out in Thursday's mail and the first ones were delivered Friday.
