Group activities

We're planning to get group tickets to a Red Sox game and to the Lord of the Rings exhibit at the Boston Museum of Science (contact tourism@noreascon.org if you are interested in joining these groups).

Are there other group activities you'd like us to look into?

Just a note,
The Lord of the Rings Exhibition is at the Museum of Science, which you can shorten to MoS, but *not* MFA. That's the Museum of Fine Arts, a fine institution, but they don't have a Lord of the Rings Exhibition. Ask a cabbie or hop the trolley to take you to the MFA, and you'll end up on the other side of town.

Just want to make sure no one gets lost.

The Boston Museum of Science is having the "Lord of the Rings - the exhibit". I lost the link.

Arthur Ganson, who was the Artist GOH at Arisia this year, has a permanent exhibit at MIT (MIT Museum, Building N52, 265 Mass Ave. Cambridge, MA) that is well worth seeing.

His website is http://www.arthurganson.com/

The MIT exhibit is called Gestural Engineering and its website is http://salticus-peckhamae.mit.edu/afs/athena.mit.edu/org/m/museum/exhibits/ganson.html

I'm not sure what's up at the MIT museum, but I attended one convention while they had a great exhibit on robotics. I'm not sure how much interest there would be, but it could be something to look into.

Unfortunately, discount tickets are not available for many of the games. We are working on a group of tickets for N4 members for the September 1st game (vs. Anaheim) so they can enjoy the Fenway experience together.

Please stay tuned for more information or email tourism@noreascon.org to be put on the list to be informed when we have more information.

A Fine Idea!! I'd be in for a Tuesday or Wednesday game when there is less to do.. Looked at tickets before for Fenway and the good seats are incredibly desirable and exspensive, do you have any ideas on getting "sweet" tickets???
