Democratic National Convention in Boston in 2004

...but we promise that the streets will be safe for fandom by the time our members arrive for Noreascon 4!



The Democratic National Committee announced Wednesday, November 13, that Boston has been selected as the host city for the 2004 Presidential nominating convention for the Democratic party. The convention, a city-wide effort that will bring tens of thousands of eager politicos to the city, is slated for the week of July 26, according to a report by the Boston Globe and the Democratic National Committee.


We're pretty sure the city will have a chance to re-stock the beer before you get here!

"Mission Control, We Have Montana!"

We spoke too soon about not having any members from Montana -- Rob Bazemore (aka "Insanity") has just joined Noreascon Four (so he'll be coming back to Boston to visit in 2004) from the wilds of big sky country.



But we're still looking for North Dakotans, Oklahomans, Arcturians, etc. (see below). Feel free to join, and invite all of your friends, too!
