25th World Fantasy Convention Membership Registration Form
Membership
Attending: $125 (US) 1 June, 1999 through 15 October, 1999
At the door: $150 (US)
Supporting: $35 (US). Includes all publications as well as the right to nominate works for the World Fantasy Awards for 1999, 2000, and 2001. (Nominations for 1999 are now closed.)
There is a membership cap based upon the physical limitations of the facility and the desired continuing ambiance of the World Fantasy Convention. We will stop selling memberships when that cap is reached. We cannot guarantee that there will be any memberships available at the door. Thank you.
The Venue
Rhode Island Convention Center
Westin Hotel: 401-598-8000
As of September 23, our Westin block is sold out -- every room we had in our contract, and the extras they added due to demand. (They don't have any more available for us.)
Providence Biltmore: 401-421-0700
As of October 12, our Biltmore block is also sold out.
The main WFC hotels are now full. To keep rooms 'in the family' we'd appreciate it that if you need to cancel a room, you would cancel it through us. Send us email at: info@noreascon.org.
Citywide Reservations Services, Inc. has arranged for rooms for World Fantasy Convention members at the Comfort Inn in Pawtucket ($79 per night) and Days Inn in Cranston ($85 per night). These rooms are subject to availability so don't delay any more. Please call them at 888-248-9121 and mention World Fantasy Convention.

Progress Reports and Mailings
Progress Report 1 was mailed in November 1998 to members of WFC 1996, WFC 1997, and WFC 1998.
Ballots to nominate works for the 1999 World Fantasy Awards were mailed in February 1999 to all members of WFC 1997, WFC 1998, and WFC 1999 (and members who joined later). The nominees for the 1999 World Fantasy Awards (for the best work of 1998) have been announced.
Progress Report 2 includes hotel, travel, and banquet information, and was mailed April 1999 to all members of WFC 1999 (new members will receive a copy as they join).
Progress Report 3 includes driving directions and preliminary schedules, and was mailed September 1999 to all members of WFC 1999 (new members will receive a copy as they join).
